S8 is an IP65 grade 8-inch rugged Android tablet that is designed to withstand rough handling, like outdoor or in-vehicle harshest environment use. As for its CPU and OS, S8 is powered by Rockchip RK3288W ARM Cortex- A17 quad-core with Android 7.1 Nougat system or Linux (Ubuntu18.04). It also integrates optional modules like Gigabit Ethernet for data transmission and NFC for identification. Meanwhile, for in-vehicle use, it has functional interfaces such as RS232, RS422, USB host, etc. which are suitable for many applications such as fleet management, public transit, intelligent mining, precision farming, logistics and industrial control, etc.
